OregonLive: Riffle NW debuts in Pearl District
Chef Ken Norris was fly-fishing on the Deschutes River when the name popped into his head. The “riffle” in Riffle NW, the restaurant Norris and his wife, Jennifer, plan to open in the Pearl District May 15, refers to a small rapids system in a river where fish often congregate to feed. The Norrises think Riffle NW can be the seafood-focused restaurant Portlanders have long craved.
